Project life Tuesday

As you all know by now I hope, I am working on a Project 365 log for this year, taking a picture a day for a year.  Jessica Turner over at The Mom Creative is hosting Project Life Tuesday, where everyone can come to her site and link up to share our pictures from the week. It doesn't matter if you are doing Project Life, Project 365, or Project 52,  everyone is welcome to hop over to her blog and link up.

I hope you enjoy seeing everyones pictures and getting ideas.

Have a great Tuesday!

Madeline has been sleeping terribly lately, not to mention that I have never been able to put her "down" for a nap.  I always had to hold her.  So, I tried to get her to sleep in her crib for naptime. She cried and cried, then it finally got quiet.  When I went to check on her, this is what I saw.  How sad is that?  The kid is sleeping standing up.  We still haven't been able to fix the issue yet, maybe soon.

Friday night Ike and I went to JCPenney to get Granny's gift.  The mall wasn't busy at all, and we were in and out really quickly.

On Saturday, we celebrated my Granny's 80th birthday!  She had a wonderful day filled with presents and food.  It was nice to have all the family together again so soon after Christmas.

This is our cat Pepper that we got right before we got married.  She lived with Ike for about 2 months until we got married and I moved in.  She was sleeping in one of her favorite spots, my side of the bed.

Ike was off for MLK day, so we were all home together.  For a few days, Emma's front tooth had been super loose.  We were eating our lunch, and Emma was having a really hard time with her food because of the tooth, so she asked Ike to pull it.  It only took a second, and it was out.  Here is a picture of her new smile!

  1. Linked to you from Jessica's blog....L-O-V-E the picture of your stand-n-snooze daughter! How adorable! That picture will be treasured for a long time, I'm sure! It's one of the most difficult things about being a mom, I find; the whole cry-until-you-sleep scenario. It's so hard, but it eventually pays off!! Looking forward to seeing more of your photos!

  3. I liked your photos for the week. I also like how pretty your blog is. That picture is so adorable, standing in sleeping. I remember those hard times. I know it's tough but later you will be happy when she sleeps so good and thru the night on her own. Congrats on the tooth, always exciting to a kid. Thanks for sharing. I found your blog thru Jessica's, mine is there also.
