I made this banner using card stock, stencils, and curling ribbon. It looked much better in my head, but I think it looked cute anyway.
I realize that this pic of me is terrible, but I must explain. About 5-10 minutes before the guests arrived at the house for Madeline's party, I was charging my camera battery, and my camera was on the kitchen counter. Madeline walked over, and grabbed the strap, and my NEW camera came tumbling down onto the tile floor. It took all I could do not to burst into tears. Good news: All is well, and there was no damage.
Here's the birthday princess ready for bed after her party. She had such a great day!

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these photos with us. I love them all, she did so good it looks like. SHe really liked her presents and looked at each one that's pretty good for a baby. I love the pink car, my kids had a red,yellow one when they were little and it didn't have a face on it. She's so sweet in the cake eating ones. Happy first birthday Maddie! What happened to the bday hat you were making?
ReplyDeleteThe b-day hat turned out pretty well, but she wouldn't wear it. She screamed and yanked it off everytime I tried. :-( I was a little upset, but oh well, such is life.
