I have been feeling the urge to craft for a few weeks now. Normally I am not crafty at all, and rely on my sis to help me out in this area. But, I finally decided to just do it! So, I got out my sewing machine, and decided to make something. I found a tutorial online for these cute little crinkly squares that have little ribbon tags on the edges. Madeline has been eating her clothes lately, so I thought these would be great for her. So, I got all my supplies out, and got going. It didn't take me long to make the first one at all, so I made 2 more. Madeline seems to like them, so at least it wasn't a waste of time.
You can see the tutorial here:
http://www.joyshope.com/2009/05/baby-crinkle-square-tutorial.htmlI did exactly as the tutorial said for the most part, and I used baby wipe refill packaging for the "crinkle". I tried to use a
gerber onesie package, but it didn't "crinkle" as good as the wipes packaging. Please excuse my "
wonkiness", but I don't think I did so bad, considering this was the first time I have used my sewing machine without Erin's help.
Here are a few pictures of my finished products!
